From where will the Do Dham Pilgrimage begin?
The Do Dham pilgrimage in India typically begins from the city of Haridwar or Rishikesh, which are both located in the state of Uttarakhand. These two cities are considered the gateway to the Himalayas and the starting point for many Hindu pilgrimages. From Haridwar or Rishikesh, pilgrims can travel to the two Dhams, namely Kedarnath and Badrinath, which are considered two of the holiest sites in Hinduism.
Alternatively, some pilgrims may also start their journey from Dehradun, another city in Uttarakhand, or from Delhi, the capital of India, which is well-connected to Uttarakhand by road, rail, and air. Regardless of where the journey begins, the Do Dham pilgrimage is considered a challenging and spiritually fulfilling journey that requires physical endurance and a deep sense of devotion.
