Nandprayag
Nandprayag, one of the main confluences or Panch Prayag, is one the bank of Green Nandakini River – flowing from a glacier that is close to Nanda Devi and Alaknanda. It is the main source, from where these two mighty rivers flow together in one stream. The beautiful place got its name after King Nand, who performed Maha Yagna.
The beautiful ghats of Nandprayag are free from temples, expect one that is devoted to Nanda Devi – got washed away in a flood. There are different shrines of Chandika Devi, Gangeshwar Mahadev, Gopalji and different others at different places.

How to Reach Nandprayag?
